Human Helper

Hello my name is melinda, I live in Melbourne Australia.

I was a veterinary nurse for 8 years, but I have been passionate about animal welfare since my childhood.

As a young child I enjoyed the companionship of pets.
I have fond memories of my grandmother and I feeding the wild birds in the back yard where I grew up, and the stray black cat that loved my grandmother, staying by her side, to the day she passed away.

To this day I have 3 bundles of joy (see above) that share with me the ups and downs of day to day life, Or should I say I share with them.

I dedicate this site in loving memory of my pets that have passed away, I miss them all to this day.

This is my best friend georgi, she is a talented lady who adds  to this site in valuable ways. Throughout her life she has had five cats and had the privilege to help various forms of wildlife in crisis.
